Praising Saints

A Children's Choirs for ages 5 -10 who are trained to sing songs of praise to God. They meet regularly once a month for rehearsal and fellowship.

Pre-Teen

The goal of this ministry is to provide a forum to teach and/or reinforce Christian principles and engage the children in Christian-oriented activities. In accordance with Antioch's Vision and Mission statement, the ministry will focus on:

  • Teaching (Christian Education and equip our youth with Biblical principles to real life issues) [Educationally]

  • Fellowship Opportunities (Cultural, Sports - Professional and Team/Individual Participation, Fun/Amusement) [Socially]

  • Worship Experiences ( Through a combination of classroom/group and Fellowship Events) [Spiritually]

AWANA

Helping churches and parents worldwide raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ is the goal of this ministry. AWANA serves children from ages 2 -12th grade. At Antioch Baptist Church, our ministry focuses on children from ages 3 - 12. Children are participate in games, Bible Scripture memorization and counsel time activities demonstrating applying Scripture to their daily lives. Antioch Baptist Church AWANA clubs meet on Sundays, from 5:30 p. m. - 7:30 p. m. at Burke School, 9645 Burke Lake Road, Burke, VA.

Youth

Senior High

Objectives is to lead each youth to a genuine experience of the saving grace of God through Jesus Christ. The Ministry is not a "religious-social group", but a Christ-centered ministry promoting Christian belief's and wholesome activities. the Ministry's goal is to address Christian development in a spiritual, physical, social, mental, and emotional realms by:

  • Meeting Needs. Our desire is to make this ministry relevant and help you live in the world, yet not be "of the world". The ministry teaches ethical and biblical principles for seeking God's perspectives in every circumstance.

  • Teaching Christian Principles. It is important for you to know the power of prayer to develop your faith and understand spiritual survival requires daily bible study and prayer.

Junior High

Young Adult

The vision is to provide the bridge to support the continued transition of young adults 18 - 25 yr. olds who are in college locally or not, and or have started a career from high school to young adulthood. The bridge is anchored in the Word on pillars of, Spiritual connectivity, Economic empowerment, Social Adeptness and Educational and career support
