Singles Ministry
The Single’s Ministry is designed to help singles deal with issues they face on a daily basis. The ministry sponsors several activities and seminars to reach the singles and provide opportunities for them to fellowship with other singles. Some activities include: prayer breakfasts, house fellowships, workshops, picnics, ski trips, bible studies and various other outings.
II Peter 1:3 His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
House Fellowship
Our House Fellowships are ministry events that are held outside of the church, typically at someone's home once a quarter. The house fellowship event has a theme which makes this program fluid. In the past we have seen everything from talk shows to rap sessions to speaker/audience sessions. So, depending on which quarter you come to receive a blessing, will dictate what you will encounter. We do encourage you to come to all of the house fellowships, not only to get spiritually fed, but to fellowship with the rest of the singles!
Outreach
There are many facets of Single's Ministry that reaches out in every direction, and this road takes us back to the community. Currently the single's ministry is collaborating with the Outreach Ministry in order to get efforts off the ground to visit a local nursing home and donate our time to the elderly. Also we will be spending the first three weekends of November at local soup kitchens to help serve dinner. We would like to have your help to show the community that we care and are ready to sacrifice our time to provide help.
Prayer Breakfast
The prayer breakfast focuses on various topics that are essential to the everyday Christian's walk. They start at early, usually by 10 am on a specified Saturday of the quarter.
Christmas Party
Each year during the month of December the Singles Ministry sponsors a Christmas Party. This event is a special time of fellowship, refreshments, fun, games and laughter, as well as an opportunity to celebrate our Savior's birth.
