communications & media

The Communications Ministry of Antioch Baptist Church involves two broad responsibilities- worship support and outreach. The ministry's main responsibility is to work through the Audio & Sound and Video ministries to support worship services held at Antioch. The outreach efforts, both internal and external to the Antioch family, are met through the production and distribution of the ABC newsletter, communicating through our website, reaching the public through our radio broadcast, by distributing tapes to the Antioch family as well as to radio listeners, and through promoting and reporting on church worship services and events.

Audio & Sound

  • Ensure quality sanctuary sound for speaking, singing and instrumentation

Radio Broadcast

  • Provide tapes for Saturday morning radio broadcast, currently with WAVA at 12:00 noon on Saturdays.

Video

  • Provides closed circuit video broadcast of the services.

Web Communications

  • Provides access to general church information on the internet

Newsletter

  • An instrument of outreach by reporting church events and members’ works in order to edify and glorify God.

Public Relations and Promotions

  • This ministry is in its development stage.

  • It will coordinate media coverage about major events.
